O’Shea Jackson, better known as rapper and actor Ice Cube, turns 47 today (6/15). One of the best lyricists of all time known for his aggressive and brutally honest style of rapping, Ice Cube rose to fame as a member of N.W.A. before embarking on a highly successful solo career. Looking to conquer another field, he transitioned to an actor starting with a role in 1991’s Boyz n the Hood and gained acclaim for his work in the Barbershop and Are We There Yet film series.

Ice Cube has graced our studios on multiple occasions, so in celebration of his birthday we look back on some of our favorite moments with the legendary rapper.
