Throughout her forty years in public service, former Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) has stood up for equality and bipartisanship. But when Snowe served in the Senate, she was one of only nine female senators. On SiriusXM Leading Ladies with Julie Mason of POTUS Politics, Snowe recalled a conversation with a former senator who said that strangest part of coming back to the Hill after years away was “seeing women on the floor of the Senate.”

Snowe, who did not seek reelection in 2012, talked to Mason about her monthly dinners with the other eight women in the Senate and the current state of Congress.

SiriusXM Leading Ladies features conversations with notable women in fields from entertainment to politics.
