Broadcasting from this year’s South Beach Wine and Food Festival, Food Talk host Geoffrey Zakarian sat with some of the biggest names in the food industry to discuss what else–food!

Zakarian first chatted with chef and restaurateur Marc Murphy about the opening of his new restaurant and how he thought of its unique name, Kingside. “We had a checker pattern floor… so we thought let’s find some chess terms,” Murphy said. “Kingside is the side of the board where the king sits,” Murphy explained.

Next, quirky host of the Food Network’s Secrets of a Restaurant Chef Anne Burrell sat with Zakarian to discuss what it’s like to work with celebrity chef Bobby Flay on the Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America.”What I love so very much about Bobby is that he wears his swagger and his humility equally,” said Burrell.

And later, when Zakarian asked New York City restaurateur Danny Meyer if he knew what he was doing during the opening of his iconic first restaurant? “That’s an easy answer,” said Meyer. “No.”
