Week 9 of the NFL season is almost here, which means once again it’s time to start building another killer lineup – and hopefully thicken your wallet.

As always, fantasy sports experts Joe Pisapia and Jeff Mans of Fantasy Sports Radio are here to help, and this week they shared their advice on drafting quarterbacks who are in the middle of a hot streak.

“I do believe in the hot hand a little bit,” Pisapia said. “Guys on a streak tend to perform well, most of the time. That being said, you have to be careful because you don’t want to put too much stock. I think for Eli Manning at 7800, I think you can make a case for him. I understand it. But again, I look at that match-up, I look at him on the road, and I say, ‘Well, I can have Jay Cutler for 7100, and I don’t see much of a difference there between those two guys.'”

Mans explained why he feels Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is not worth drafting, despite his low cost.

“I’m hearing so much hype about Winston now. ‘Oh, he’s made such great strides, and blah, blah, blah.’ No, I’m not interested,” Mans said.
