Adrian Peterson is back with his Minnesota Vikings teammates, participating in camp ahead of the 2015 season just days after railing against the team on Twitter.

After missing all but one game of the 2014 season because of his recently lifted suspension, Peterson’s fantasy football value is just about anybody’s guess. Kyle Elfrink and Ray Flowers took a shot at assessing Peterson’s draft value this week on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio.

“I think he’s a top-six, top-eight player off the board,” Elfrink said.

“I’d say top-10 right now. That still is risky,” Flowers said. “Adrian Peterson is 30 years old. And history is rife with guys around that age at the running back position tanking. Go look it up. They’re everywhere. He’s got a lot of carries on his body. He’s not exactly Shaun Alexander, diving away from tackles.

“I know he played one game last year, but there is something to be said for having your body in football shape,” Flowers continued. “We hear all this stuff, ‘Oh, he’s a medical marvel.’ Maybe he is. But not playing for a year, the logic says to the average person, ‘He will be healthier this year.’ But the guys who have missed a year, how have they performed when they came back?”
