Got the No. 1 waiver priority in your league heading into Week 7? Considering making a move at tight end, running back or quarterback? SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio’s Ray Flowers offers advice on three players you may be considering targeting in waivers Tuesday night:

Jace Amaro, New York Jets tight end. Week 6: 12 targets, 10 receptions, 68 receiving yards, one touchdown

Dropped a pass that would’ve been his 11th catch, been held to less than 20 yards in three games, he’s only scored once all season long, and he’s on the Jets. If you’re gonna add Amaro, I understand it, he’s certainly in the tight end-2 radar, he’s been trending in the right direction, there’s potential for him to be a top-15, maybe top-12 tight end the rest of the way. So I’m not saying don’t add him, but there’s a lot of problems that need to be overcome if we’re gonna look at him and think, “This guy could be a top-10 option the rest of the way.”

Juwan Thompson, Denver Broncos running back. Week 6: Eight carries, 38 yards, one target, one reception, 0 yards

I think we’d have to have a Hillman injury, but I will say that Thompson has to be thought of the next guy ahead of Anderson … I’m not gonna say that Thompson’s a must-add or anything like that, but yeah, if you’ve got a dead spot at the end of your roster, it’s not the worst idea, because one injury to Hillman, then who gets the ball?

Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders quarterback. Week 6: 18-for-34, 282 yards, four touchdowns, one interception (in a two-quarterback league)

Ryan Fitzpatrick, if we’re down in that level, then yeah, you wanna go with Derek Carr … He can stretch the field. While we don’t look at the Raiders pass-receiving corps and think giddy thoughts, Holmes and Jones are starting to form a nice rapport. We’re seeing that DMC’s starting to do a few things out of the backfield. Yeah, I think Carr can certainly be added.
