When you think “Kirk Cousins,” do the names Philip Rivers, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan or Andy Dalton come to mind?

Perhaps they should, Jeff Mans argued Monday on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio.

Right off the bat, Mans said Cousins is “a better quarterback” than the guy he is replacing in Washington, Robert Griffin III.

He makes reads better, and is way more accurate. He has a better throwing motion, is not going to get the ball swatted away. He’s just, he’s the part. He looks the part, he plays the part of an NFL quarterback. Kirk Cousins is a better quarterback. He’s going to make Pierre Garcon better, DeSean Jackson … He’s going to make the offense better. And with Jay Gruden there? I’m excited about Kirk Cousins. I’m picking him up on waivers this week.

So about Rivers and company …

“Philip Rivers or Kirk Cousins? I say Kirk Cousins,” Mans said. “He’s not Peyton Manning, he’s not Tom Brady. [But] show me the difference between Kirk Cousins and Matt Ryan. I don’t think there’s many.”
