Fantasy football fact or fiction: Antonio Brown, Eddie Lacy + more

The 2015 NFL season is just around the corner, which means it’s fantasy football draft time.

While you study and analyze the stats from last season, and try to build that perfect roster, it’s hard to predict which performers from last year will repeat, and who will regress. Well if you’re looking for a little help, the guys on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio’s RotoExperts tried to help you out with some fact or fiction.

FACT OR FICTION: Antonio Brown, who had the second most single-season receptions in NFL history last year, will break the record in 2015.

Scott and Greg both said fiction.

“I don’t doubt that he can lead the league in receptions, but it’s a lot of receptions,” said Greg.

FACT OR FICTION: Julio Jones will finish the season as the top PPR wide receiver.

Scott and Greg agreed on fiction.

“He’s going to be darn close,” Scott said. “He’s not going score more touchdowns than Dez [Bryant], and he’s not going to have more receptions than Antonio Brown, but he can be second behind both of them.”

FACT OR FICTION: Calvin Johnson will play in 14 or more football games.

Scott and Greg once again agreed, this time both saying fact.

“I think he has a nice bounce back year,” Greg said.

FACT OR FICTION: Eddie Lacy will score at least 13 touchdowns this season.

Scott and Greg both said fact.

“He pretty much hit that last year,” Scott said. “I think he’s going to finish off more scoring drives for this offense this year.”
