The two weeks of fantasy football bye week hell are officially past us, so maybe there isn’t too much urgency in your league heading into Tuesday night’s waiver wire period. That said, you might be able to catch a few owners sleeping, swoop in, and add a player that can help your playoff push.

SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio’s Ray Flowers and Howard Bender gave their takes on a pair of players likely to draw some interest: Miami Dolphins running back Damien Williams and New York Giants wide receiver Preston Parker.

Flowers on Williams (seven carries for 34 yards, three receptions for 27 yards in Week 10; 31 carries for 100 yards, seven receptions for 62 yards this season):

He clearly is the guy to own if you’re looking at backups [in Miami], Williams and Thomas … Williams would be the player to look at there. The short week is certainly something to consider [when looking at Lamar Miller‘s injury]. If Williams is getting the majority of the touches and is the goal-line back, there’s interest with him.

Bender on Parker (seven receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown in Week 10; 21 receptions for 263 yards and a touchdown this season):

I don’t necessarily think he’s beyond Rueben Randle. I still think that the Giants want to get Randle more active in there. But the problem is that they’ve been forcing the ball to Randle over the last couple of weeks, and he really hasn’t done much with it. Until [Sunday], neither has Preston Parker. He’s got one game where he’s got three catches for 61 yards, but he hasn’t topped 20 yards in the three games prior to [Sunday’s] action. I can’t say that he’s going to surpass Randle, but he’s definitely going to be one of those guys that if the ground game can still support Eli, then Parker is suddenly a guy that, let’s say you’ve got a bye-week issue coming up in the next week or two, coming around in Week 12, Parker could be the guy that you’re going to want to just there in there as a wide receiver-three.
