Golf’s best arrive at Augusta National this week for a chance to be named the 2017 Masters Tournament winner, and through it all, SiriusXM will cover the ups and downs of the always challenging course.

SiriusXM will air more than 20 hours of live tournament play-by-play between Thursday and championship Sunday, break down the course with past winners, and highlight rare audio from the Augusta National archives on PGA Tour Radio on Ch. 92, Sirius Ch. 208.

Highlights will include Ben Crenshaw and Lou Holtz walking listeners through Augusta National hole by hole in a one-hour special airing throughout the week. Craig Stadler, Hale Irwin, Larry Mize and many others will host their own shows throughout the week leading up to the first round on Thursday.

Taylor Zarzour, Carl Paulson, and Mark Lye will host SiriusXM’s pre- and post-round Masters programming, airing immediately before and after each day’s play-by-play coverage.

If you can’t wait for that, no worries, we’re already in full-Masters mode. In anticipation of the action, 1998 Masters champion Mark O’Meara called into Hank Haney Golf Radio to discuss the difficulties faced when playing at Augusta National.

“You really are on defense at Augusta National,” O’Meara said. “You cannot putt mediocre and think you’re going to win at Augusta National.”

Catch every moment on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, Ch. 92, Sirius Ch. 208.
