New York Mets third baseman David Wright called into SiriusXM’s MLB Network Radio on Wednesday to discuss, among other things, his appointment as the captain of the National League Home Run Derby squad.

The segment opened up with Power Alley co-host Jim Duquette’s on-air call of Wright’s 200th career home run, which came on Aug. 24, 2012. After some good-natured needling between Duquette and co-host Mike Ferrin, Wright was asked about the quality of Duquette’s call.

“That was weak!” Wright said. “I’ll give [Duquette] a pass on this one, but maybe a little more enthusiasm next time.”

Listen to the call that Duquette, Ferrin and Wright were discussing, and tune in to Power Alley at 10 am ET on MLB Network Radio, XM channel 89 and Sirius channel 209.
