Chris Pratt remembers how Chris Evans made him feel comfortable with Anna Faris sex scenes

“We hung out, we got together, we became friends, and immediately any weirdness that was there disappeared,” the Passengers star said on Sway in the morning.

Jennifer Lawrence has called filming her first sex scene —with Chris Pratt in the space thriller Passengers — “bizarre,” telling Vanity Fair she prepared by getting “really, really drunk.”

Luckily, Pratt did everything possible to make the leading lady, whom he now calls “a lifelong friend,” feel comfortable … and she returned the favor for his real-life wife, Anna Faris.

“She came to the set a couple times. She was doing her show Mom back in L.A., and so she and Jack would come to the set and hang out, and Jen and Anna got along really well as well,” Pratt said Tuesday on Sway in the Morning.

“That’s good, good for you. Because that could’ve went downhill sometimes, man,” Sway Calloway said. “You know, when your husband is co-starring with a beautiful, A-list Hollywood star.”

“In that regard I really got lucky, and it’s been that way for Anna and I for the 10 years that we’ve been together,” Pratt replied. “I mean, we have an understanding of what we do for a living, and I think that if I was married to somebody who was like a schoolteacher or a different job, maybe it’d be a little harder for them to comprehend what exactly goes down or the sacrifices you have to make.”

Not to mention Faris’ own steamy love scenes with actors like Chris Evans in the 2011 rom-com What’s Your Number? Watching your spouse copulate with Captain America could have been intimidating, Pratt admitted.

“He’s so hot! He’s so handsome and cool, and Chris did something, he gave me such a major gift in that moment where he just embraced me and was like, ‘Hey, man, this is weird.’ We hung out, we got together, we became friends, and immediately any weirdness that was there disappeared, and I felt like the same thing happened with Jen and Anna,” he said. “Jen was like, ‘Hey man,’ and gave her this nice Dior handbag and called her and texted her and appeared on her podcast and stuff. It’s like you just have to make an effort to un-weird the situation.

Passengers premieres Dec. 21. Sway in the Morning airs weekdays from 8 a.m. to noon on SiriusXM Shade 45 (Ch. 45).
