Brendon Ayanbadejo will keep his kids out of football until high school

How are professional football players dealing with the growing concerns surrounding the game and head trauma? Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo told OutQ’s Derek and Romaine that he’ll keep his kids out of football in their youth, just as Ayanbadejo’s parents prevented him from playing when he was young.

“The NFL is in so much trouble today because they knew what they were, what the effects were of not just concussions, but repetitive blows to the head, not only in adults, but especially in young and developing brains,” Ayanbadejo said. “I’m not going to let my kids play football until they’re in high school at least.”
