For the fourth year in a row, Outlaw Country (Ch. 60) celebrated the annual AmericanaFest in Nashville with an all-star lineup of artists performing in the traditional Guitar Town song swap, “guitar pull” format at the SiriusXM Music City Theatre, for a broadcast event appropriately titled Americana’s Most Wanted.

This year’s edition featured guitar-slinging troubadour Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule, Allman Brothers Band), Knoxville-born chanteuse Ashley Monroe (Pistol Annies), hard boiled Michigan hell-raiser Whitey Morgan and “Funky” Donnie Fritts — one of the original musicians and songwriters on the Muscle Shoals scene — performing individually and sitting in together on songs including a chicken-skin finale of Bob Dylan’s I Shall Be Released.

The one-hour special of Americana’s Most Wanted airs Friday 9/25 at 8 pm ET, with rebroadcasts on Saturday 9/26 at 2 pm ET and Sunday 9/27 at 6 pm ET on Outlaw Country.
