Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t think a “couple ribbons and a Game Boy” are enough for student athletes to live on, especially considering how much money they bring in for the NCAA each year.
Rodgers may have delivered that last line with his typical dry wit during his interview with Schein on Sports, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t serious. The lauded passer said he fully supports Christian McCaffrey and Leonard Fournette for sitting out their respective bowl games as they prepare for the NFL Draft this spring.
