SiriusXM NFL Radio‘s Training Camp Tour continued with visits around the NFC North, and this what they learned:

Green Bay Packers

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers feels there’s a different atmosphere at Packers training camp this year.

“It’s been a different feel at camp this year,” Rodgers said. “This year, we don’t feel like the young team anymore. We still have some young talent, but I think part of that is we got all 11 back on offense. The other part is you’re seeing a lot more communication from player to player and across the offense and defense as well.”

Head coach Mike McCarthy feels that it was about time assistant coach Tom Clements take over calling all the plays on offense. McCarthy also spoke positively about all of the team’s options at tight end.

Chicago Bears

Wide receiver Eddie Royal has a fan in general manger Ryan Pace.

“He’s such a sudden route-runner, he’s got a savviness to him to get open,” Pace said. “He consistently separates from man coverage, and he’s a leader in that receiver room too.”

Minnesota Vikings

After missing most of the 2014 season, Adrian Peterson is anxious to get back on the field.

“I’m definitely chomping at the bit to get in there, my body feels good,” Peterson said. “When I get back in there, I’m just going to go out there and enjoy myself and do it for the guys that really matter.”

Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is ready to be the leader of the team.

“I’m glad to be the guy in charge right now, I’m able to take command of those huddles,” said Bridgewater. “It’s a good feeling to know you’re in command, but at the same time I have to continue to work as if I’m not the starter.”

Detroit Lions

Quarterback Mathew Stafford is ready to win.

“It’s a year we’ve got to take advantage of,” Stafford said. “We’ve got a lot of really good players here right now, a lot of great coaches, and it’s on us to go out there and turn it into wins.”

Coach Jim Caldwell wants the team to improve on last year’s 11-5 record.

“This year we have to be better than we were last year,” said Caldwell. “We’re going about it that way, trying to make certain we don’t get satisfied with anything. That we criticize everything. We look at every single nuance of our practices, how we function, how we work. We question it all.”
