In this series of six monthly programs, Maestro Dudamel will introduce recent concert performances by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and share some of the excitement and joys of leading one of the world’s major orchestras, one he calls “a beautiful lady.” The first of six programs will be an All-Beethoven concert, featuring pianist Leif Ove Andsnes. Soloists will include pianists Leif Ove Andsnes and Yuja Wang. Concert performances will include music from the standard repertoire by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Stravinsky and Rachmaninov and recently composed music by Lutoslawski, Claude Vivier, Daniel Bjarnnason and Corigliano.
