Oregon Ducks 2014 camp tour report from SiriusXM College Sports Nation

August 6, 2014

SiriusXM College Sports Nation’s third annual college football camp tour continued on Monday, Aug. 4th, as Mark Packer visited with the Oregon Ducks. The Ducks are ranked No. 4 in national preseason polls, and projected by the media to win the PAC-12 conference as well.

Oregon Ducks season preview

For Mark Packer, Oregon’s success begins with their starting quarterback, Marcus Mariota. Mariota turned down an opportunity to enter the NFL Draft in order to finish out his eligibility at Oregon.

“(Mariota) has a lot to work with: five offensive line starters return plus a running back corps of Byron Marshall and Thomas Tyner.

“The only issue on the offensive side may be at wide receiver, though Keanon Lowe is back. The question is who else steps up on the wide receiver corps.”
