Chicago Bears 2014 training camp report from SiriusXM NFL Radio

July 29, 2014

SiriusXM NFL Radio’s 10th annual Training Camp Tour continued on Saturday, July 26, as Jim Miller and Jeff Joniak stopped by Chicago Bears camp at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill.

Chicago Bears Player to Watch

Jim Miller says to keep an eye on Shea McClellin with the shift to linebacker:

It’s called strong side linebacker for a reason and he has the traits for that [...] he’s athletic. He can drop in coverage. I think he’ll have to improve his instincts. I think he’s a physical player [...] but certainly the spotlight is on him, because it’s a big transition for a young player. He’s switching from his hand down to now standing up.
