Fearless, informed, fascinating and funny. One Big Couch with Tom Shadyac is returning to Indie, Ch. 104, on Monday 7/7 at 6 pm ET.

A  box office record-breaking film director, Tom Shadyac has worked with Jim Carey on Ace Ventura Pet Detective, Liar Liar, and Patch Adams. He also worked on The Nutty Professor, Accepted, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, just to name a few. He was the youngest writer to work for comedy legend Bob Hope, has received four people’s choice awards, and was nominated for a Golden Globe (best comedy) for Patch Adams.

But after a life threatening bike injury, the acclaimed film director left the Hollywood and downsized his red carpet lifestyle, which led him to his most recent film, I Am, a documentary that asks the question “What’s Wrong with the world and what can we do about it?”

This question is also the premise for One Big Couch, during which Shadyac asks listeners to take a seat and help him figure out what is wrong with the world and what we can do about it.

Guests will include SiriusXM’s very own Pete Dominick Dr., Jill Bolte, Taylor Katie Lee, In-Q Dacher Keltner, Lynne McTaggart, Jeremy Rifkin, Dr. Shefali Tsabary Roko, Thom Hartmann, Minnie Driver, Paul Hawken, Jackie Sanderlin, Morgan Spurlock, and Coleman Barks.

One Big Couch will air weekdays on SiriusXM Indie live from 6 pm to 7 pm EST and replay on the same day at 9 pm EST.  There will also be replays throughout the weekend.
