California Chrome races for history at The Belmont Stakes

He dominated the Kentucky Derby. He battled to win the Preakness. Now only a mile and a half stands between California Chrome and the history books.

With the first and middle jewels obtained, the three-year-old colt is aiming to capture the first Triple Crown since 1978 with a win at the Belmont Stakes, becoming only the 12th trifecta winner in thoroughbred racing history.
