Patton Oswalt live tweeted ’80s on 8, and when we say ‘live tweeted,’ we mean ‘mercilessly mocked’

April 11, 2014

What do you usually do on Thursday nights? Maybe you attend happy hour, maybe you morph into a couch potato in front of some must-see TV, or maybe you let the cat take over your lap while you attempt to eat a bodega salad (er — maybe that’s just me).

Comedian Patton “Failure Pile in a Sadness Bowl” Oswalt, on the other hand, definitely wins Thursday nights forever. Just last night, Patton began live tweeting ’80s on 8, i.e., lending his commentary to The Outfield’s Your Love, The Human League’s Don’t You Want Me, and more classic ’80s jams.

What did Patton say, exactly? Well, let’s just say that no mullets or Jheri curls were safe.
