Adam Schein ‘offended’ by comments from Atlanta Hawks

“Our goal is not to be the eighth seed.”

“Getting in or not getting in, I don’t think of it that way.”

“Out biggest thing is, don’t worry about the playoffs.”

When your NBA team is in the postseason mix, those aren’t comments you want to see from your general manager, head coach and forward in the New York Times.

But Danny Ferry, Mike Budenholzer and DeMarre Carroll referred to the Hawks’ playoff push in such a way, and it set off Mad Dog Sports Radio host Adam Schein.

I am honestly really annoyed. And I have to tell you something. I am offended. I am flat out offended by the Atlanta Hawks and the comments about basically, how they don’t give a damn. They don’t care about making the playoffs. I find this to be a fine-able offense.
