Pittsburgh Pirates 2014 spring training report from MLB Network Radio

March 8, 2014

Repost This

MLB Network Radio‘s Spring Training Tour rolled into Bradenton, Fla., on Friday, where Jim Duquette and Mike Ferrin visited with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Pittsburgh Pirates 2014 outlook

After making the postseason for the first time 1992, the Pittsburgh Pirates hope to build on their 94 win season and go even further in the postseason in 2014. Neal Huntington’s club had a quiet offseason and lost starter A.J. Burnett to free agency. This year, their rotation will be dependent on the growth of 23-year-old Gerrit Cole as he looks to build on his rookie successes.
