Boston Red Sox 2014 spring training report from MLB Network Radio

March 5, 2014

MLB Network Radio‘s Spring Training Tour rolled into Lee County, Fla., on Tuesday, where Jim Duquette and Mike Ferrin visited with the Boston Red Sox.

Boston Red Sox 2014 outlook

This season, the Red Sox are tasked with one of the most difficult challenges in sports: defending a championship. With Jacoby Ellsbury in New York with the rival Yankees, Boston is leaning on 23-year-old Jackie Bradley, Jr. in center field. Veteran catcher A.J. Pierzynski replaces Jarrod Saltalamacchia, and John Farrell‘s team will look for repeat performances from first baseman Mike Napoli, right fielder Shane Victorino and closer Koji Uehara.
