Here at The Spectrum, we search out up-and-coming bands for you, our listeners. We’re dubbing these artists you might not yet have heard Spectrum Certified. Here are two new artists we can’t stop listening to: soulful performer Hozier and folk-rock collective Bear’s Den.
Why The Spectrum Loves Him: Hozier is actually Andrew Hozier-Byrne, an Irish musician born on St. Patrick’s Day. His current single, Take Me to Church, which conjures up soul, blues, and a little Elton John, is from his EP of the same name. Follow Hozier on Twitter @Hozier.

They’re part of Communion Records, a collective founded by Mumford & Sons’ Ben Lovett. Their lead single, Writing On The Wall, is from their sophomore EP, Without/Within.
