Airing Super Bowl weekend on 20 on 20, Ch. 3
Super Bowl fever is at an all-time high this week, which you may or may not have noticed if you’ve been following our all-access adventures on Radio Row. But hey, we’re nowhere near finished pre-gaming.
Starting this Friday, January 31, 20 on 20 will launch a limited-edition Super Bowl channel featuring non-stop sports anthems. What qualifies as a “sports anthem,” you ask? Well, think of the songs you might hear in stadiums all over the country: songs like Guns & Roses’ Welcome to the Jungle, P!nk’s Get the Party Started, and Gary Glitter’s Rock & Roll Part 2, to name a few.
Later, starting at 5 pm ET on Super Bowl Sunday, 20 on 20 will switch gears to Bruno Radio, a block of continuous music by the Halftime Show performer himself. You’ll hear all of Bruno Mars’ music, including tracks from his latest album, Unorthodox Jukebox. We’ll even top things off with Bruno’s actual Halftime performance*, live from Metlife Stadium in New Jersey, the site of Super Bowl XLVIII.
That’s right: We’re soundtracking your entire Super Bowl weekend. You have no say in the matter. Now, please enjoy this new in-studio clip of Bruno singing Grenade at the SiriusXM studios, then get thee to the grocery store before they run out of Doritos and guac!
*Bruno Mars’ Halftime Show performance will also air on Hits 1.
