Oakland Raiders wide receiver Rod Streater is enjoying a breakout year In his second NFL season. With three games left, Streater has already set career highs in most offensive categories, and has a chance to reach the 1,000-yard receiving mark.
Fresh off receiving for a career-high 130 yards against the New York Jets, Streater joined Nathan Zegura on the SiriusXM Fantasy Consultant, and talked about continuing to build on his success.
You just try and get better. Now, I have to raise the bar even higher and go for even bigger numbers. This time, I’m trying to get the win with it. It will feel so much better with the big game and the win.
Streater, whose numbers have improved drastically with quarterback Matt McGloin under center, said the relationship they have is the reason for his increase in production.
We obviously have a connection. He’s a very good young man. He’s got a really strong arm. As soon as he [started playing,] he’s been doing a great job. I feel like he’s putting the ball where it needs to be, making the right reads and finding me in stride, which is a big positive.
