Fans of the Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks, guess what:
Like you, Charles Barkley isn’t happy with what he’s seen on NBA courts this season.
“I will tell you this,” Barkley said to Frank Isola and Stacey King, “I’ve been in the NBA since 1984. And as a fan – and I’m a fan foremost – I’m embarrassed at the level of play in the NBA today. And they’re always talking about, ‘You old guys, young guys, old school, new school’ … let me tell you something: I’ve been in the NBA since 1984, I’ve never seen the NBA as bad as it is right now. This is trash that I’m watching. It’s almost unwatchable, some of these games.
“I feel bad for the fans, to be honest with you,” Barkley, who was the first guest on the brand new SiriusXM NBA Radio Monday morning, added.
Chuck also told Isola and King that he’s happy to have Kobe back – “He’s one of the 10 greatest NBA players ever,” Barkley said – but that not even Black Mamba can give the Los Angeles Lakers a shot at the NBA title.
