The Pulse’s weekend movie review: Disney’s Frozen

November 29, 2013

Heading to the movies this holiday weekend? The Pulse‘s Ron Ross and Jill Holbrook have got you covered with the best big screen picks both you and the fam will love.

So what’s showing? Josh Brolin and Samuel L. Jackson star in Spike Lee’s “remake of a Japanese vengeance movie,” Oldboy; Jason Statham faces James Franco (who does a “good job as a bad guy”) in action-adventure Homefront; and Forest Whitaker stars in a holiday musical, Black Nativity.

What’s Holbrook’s number one pick for the weekend? Disney’s “really really cute” Frozen. As Holbrook explains, the flick is just like the classic Disney movies you grew up with, featuring super-catchy songs, just this time around we get not one, but two princesses!

“The jokes were funny for kids and adults. And the lesson it teaches you in the end is warm enough to warm even the coldest of hearts,” she said.
