In his younger years, Ralph Macchio was best known for his “wax on, wax off,” skills as Daniel in The Karate Kid. Fast-forward to the present, and Macchio can now claim expertise in two more categories: marriage and filmmaking.

Macchio told SiriusXM Stars’ Seth Rudetsky the main reason he and his wife have been able to make their 25-year marriage work is the two “honestly believe that we belong together.” Macchio also gave some insight on his transition from working in front of the camera to behind it, where he writes and directs his own short films.

Listen to hear more about his most recent project, titled Across Grace Alley, which will make its debut at the Napa Valley Film Festival in mid-November.

Listen to Rudetsky’s full interview with Macchio on Seth Speaks, Saturday at 5 pm ET on SiriusXM Stars.
