Over 23 years in the business, and Pearl Jam can still take over an entire month.
Since releasing Lightning Bolt and embarking on their two-leg, 24 date North American tour, Pearl Jam has been everywhere. In October alone, the band has played eight shows – including one Friday in Hartford, Conn. – and was named the soundtrack of the World Series. Pretty, pretty good.
Jimmy Fallon decided to join the masses and dubbed last week “Pearl Jam Week,” inviting a diverse group of artists to come in and cover a Pearl Jam song each night. In honor of Fallon’s genius, we found a pair of epic covers done at SiriusXM; one by Wilile Nelson, and one by Gaslight Anthem.
