Tony Romo: All-time performance or another disappointment?

October 7, 2013

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had a career game on Sunday, going toe-to-toe with Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. Romo finished 25 for 36 with 506 passing yards and five touchdowns. but it was the late-game interception and the eventual loss that had SiriusXM sports hosts talking.

Former NFL MVP and SiriusXM NFL Radio host Rich Gannon:

The guy played his rear end off […] you feel sorry for Tony Romo this morning. The guy played unbelievable football but, again, another critical mistake in a critical situation down the stretch against a good football team does in the Dallas Cowboys.

Mad Dog Sports Radio‘s Evan & Phillips in the Morning:

If there ever was a game to define Tony Romo’s career, that was it […] that is the definition of Tony Romo.

Mad Dog Sports Radio‘s Adam Schein:

If you are blasting Tony Romo, then honestly, you didn’t watch the game […] you obviously don’t understand sports.

Bleacher Report’s Aaron Nagler on Bleacher Report Radio:

You can also hear Nick Kostos’ take on Romo’s Sunday in the Week 5 edition of #MMWTF, only on the SiriusXM blog.
