Following a 62-41 loss to Arizona State, the school’s second straight conference loss to start the 2013 season, USC fired football coach Lane Kiffin.
Former Trojans quarterback Sean Salisbury joined SiriusXM College Sports Nation to share his thoughts on the personnel decision.
“I never like to see a coach get fired,” Salisbury said. “But it had to happen, because I think the leadership was too forced. I don’t think anything was natural about it.”
Salisbury continued to talk more about USC and the importance of leadership in a coach.
