SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio host Tom Kessenich has a word of advice for fantasy owners:
If you own a quarterback who is playing against the Washington Redskins defense, you ought to start him.
Wednesday, on the STATS Fantasy Advantage, Kessenich said that if Oakland Raiders quarterback Matt Flynn – yes, that same Matt Flynn who has been anointed the starting quarterback for a franchise twice over the last two years, only to lose that starting job each time before the regular season began – starts in place of the recovering Terrelle Pryor Sunday, he’ll be a top-15 quarterback option for Week 4.
Among Kessenich’s reasons:
- The Redskins defense is ranked 31st in the NFL.
- It is allowing 333 passing yards per game.
- Opposing quarterbacks have thrown eight touchdowns, and for an average of 356 passing yards per game.
- Wide receivers have also torched the Redkins secondary.
Kessenich added that if Pryor is cleared by the Raiders’ medical staff to return from his concussion, then he’ll be a lock as a top-15 quarterback.
The STATS Fantasy Advantage airs Wednesdays at 10 pm ET on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, XM channel 87 and Sirius channel 210.
