Whether you love it or hate it, Obamacare is on everybody’s mind this week as Republicans and Democrats duke it out over the president’s health care reform. Here is a sampling of what our hosts and guests are saying about the issue on the SiriusXM airwaves.
Andrew C. McCarthy, the National Review Columnist who’s most recent Op-Ed was titled GOP Con Job: Opposition to Obamacare, calls Obama administration “more insidious than cowardice.”
Senator Ted Cruz has a similar view. Quoting a YouTube sensation on the Senate floor, he said “Obamacare: Ain’t nobody got time for that.”
Obamacare supporter Leo Gerard, the International President of the United Steelworkers (USW) union, has a different opinion. He criticizes opposers like Cruz, saying “the health care bill isn’t perfect but neither was Social Security, neither was Medicare when we first started.”
