Former NFL wide receiver and current Baltimore Ravens analyst Qadry Ismail had strong words for former teammate Cris Carter. Ismail told Dan Graca on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio that Carter was a “bona fide diva,” and that the Hall of Fame wideout’s personality was one of the reasons the Minnesota Vikings didn’t win any Super Bowls.
Pete Rose spoke with CJ Nitkowski and Mike Ferrin on Power Alley during Hall of Fame Weekend about the suspension of Ryan Braun. Rose said Braun went wrong when he started out by lying about taking performance-enhancing drugs.
Former Rutgers defensive lineman Eric LeGrand, who was left paralyzed by a hit in a college football game, said on SiriusXM College Sports Nation’s Coast to Coast that he is “nervous” about the state of college football following a rule change involving helmet-to-helmet hits. LeGrand also said that JaDeveon Clowney’s famous hit from the 2012 season should be legal.
