LISTEN: New men’s basketball coach Brandon Miller discusses Butler program

July 10, 2013

SiriusXM College Sports Today host Mark Packer spoke with Brandon Miller, the new men’s basketball coach at Butler University, Tuesday on SiriusXM College Sports Nation.

Miller talked about the state the program is currently in, largely thanks to Brad Stevens, the school’s former coach who recently agreed to a contract with the Boston Celtics.

“Brad has done a terrific job, more than a terrific job, as the head coach of Butler,” Miller said. “Butler was in great shape when he took over, and I think in his six years, what was accomplished in terms of two national championship appearances, the runs and the amount of wins in the NCAA Tournament  … Butler basketball is in great shape, and I’m thankful for that.”

Hear more from Miller on what it means for him to land the Butler job, and listen to SiriusXM College Sports Today weekdays at 3 pm ET on SiriusXM channel 91.
