Adrian Peterson Selected First Overall in F.S.T.A. Experts Fantasy Football Draft

SiriusXM’s Fantasy Sports Radio broadcast its first fantasy football draft of the season Thursday night: The F.S.T.A. Experts Fantasy Football Draft.

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was selected first overall by Rick Wolf and Glenn Colton of Colton & The Wolfman. KFFL’s Ryan Bonini took Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles second, and Brett Baker and Tai Ward from Big Game Software went with Houston Texans running back Arian Foster third.

Among the 14 first-round picks, 10 running backs and four wide receivers were selected. The Detroit Lions’ Calvin Jonhson (fourth overall) was the first wide receiver off the board.

Greg Ambrosius of Stats Inc. took Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris with the 15th overall pick, the first selection in the second round. Other notable players selected in the second round included Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson, Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson and Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, the first quarterback off the board, taken 22nd overall.

The draft included a pair of SiriusXM fantasy sports teams; John Hansen represented SiriusXM Fantasy Football, and Ray Flowers picked for the SiriusXM Fantasy Drive. The Drive airs weekdays at 6 pm ET on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio.
